- Medical Information that is written or typed on paper
- Medical Information that we know
- Medical Information that is stored in our computer systems.
Your practice must have a HIPAA Privacy Manual which includes a set of policies and procedures that we follow in protecting patient information.
Every employee in your practice MUST have annual HIPAA training on the HIPAA rules and regulations.
You are required to provide each patient with a copy of your NOTICE of PRIVACY PRACTICES upon request.
You are required to provide patients with a copy of their medical records upon request
