Unique Pharmaceutical Laboratories recalls Rising Pharma Holdings Inc. Cetirizine Hydrochloride Tablets USP 5 mg
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – July 18th, 2026 – Panoli, Gujarat, Unique Pharmaceutical Laboratories (A Div. of J. B. Chemicals & Pharmaceuticals Ltd.) is voluntarily recalling four lots of Cetirizine Hydrochloride Tablets USP 5 mg to the consumer level due to cross contamination with Ranitidine.
Risk Statement: For consumers with a hypersensitivity to the ingredients in ranitidine, there is a reasonable probability that ingestion of Cetirizine tablets contaminated with ranitidine could result in serious adverse events including severe hypersensitivity reactions and anaphylaxis that manifests as hypotension, dyspnea, difficulty swallowing, throat and facial edema, generalized pruritic, urticaria, and loss of consciousness, which are all life-threatening. To date, Unique Pharmaceuticals has not received any reports of adverse events related to this recall.

Fayus Inc., doing business as Yusol International Foods (Sacramento, CA) is voluntarily recalling OLA-OLA POUNDED YAM because the product may contain undeclared milk in the form of sodium caseinate, which is not declared on the label.
The recall is being initiated as a result of an internal investigation discovering that some packaged OLA-OLA POUNDED YAM had been distributed in packaging that did not disclose the presence of sodium caseinate – derived from milk (dairy) allergen. A subsequent investigation found that the issue resulted from a temporary breakdown in the company’s production and packaging processes. People who have an allergy or severe milk sensitivity to milk run the risk of a serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if consumed. No illness or injuries have been reported to date in connection with this issue.

The recalled product was sold exclusively through Kroger, Meijer, and Target retail stores nationwide between 03/06/2026 and 07/13/2026.

Relay Peak Research LLC (Zen Principle Naturals) of Incline Village, NV is voluntarily recalling its Zen Principle® brand Moringa Capsules dietary supplement because the product has the potential to be contaminated with Salmonella, an organism which can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in young children, frail or elderly people, and others with weakened immune systems. Healthy persons infected with Salmonella often experience fever, diarrhea (which may be bloody), nausea, vomiting and abdominal pain. In rare circumstances, infection with Salmonella can result in the organism getting into the bloodstream and producing more severe illnesses such as arterial infections (i.e., infected aneurysms), endocarditis and arthritis.
The product was distributed nationwide from December 2025 through July 2026, sold to consumers online primarily through Amazon.com and the company’s website, zenprinciple.com. Additionally, one unit was sold on eBay and one unit on Etsy.

Taylor Fresh Foods Recalls Iceberg Lettuce from Central Mexico Because of Possible Health Risk
Taylor Farms de Mexico of Guanajuato, Mexico is voluntarily removing all iceberg lettuce sourced from central Mexico from the U.S. market, because it has the potential to be contaminated with Cyclospora. Most people infected with Cyclospora develop diarrhea, with frequent bowel movements. Other common symptoms include loss of appetite, weight loss, stomach cramps/pain, bloating, increased gas, nausea, and fatigue. Vomiting, body aches, headache, and fever may be noted. Some people who are infected with Cyclospora do not have any symptoms. If not treated, the illness may lead to dehydration and severe complications that may require higher levels of care. These complications may last from a few days to a month or longer. Symptoms may seem to go away and then return one or more times (relapse). Immunocompromised persons may experience more severe illness of longer duration along with complications requiring close medical attention.
