EuroPharma, Inc. Issues Voluntary Allergy Alert on Undeclared Milk in Terry Naturally® BioActive Vitamin B™ and EuroMedica® Active B Complex
EuroPharma, Inc. of Green Bay, WI is voluntarily recalling its Terry Naturally® BioActive Vitamin B™ 60 count and EuroMedica® Active B Complex 60 count products, because they may contain undeclared milk. People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to milk run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume these products.
The recalled products were distributed nationwide through retail stores, mail order, and direct delivery. The products are:

Akorn Issues Voluntary Nationwide Recall of Various Human and Animal Drug Products Within Expiry Due to Company Shutdown
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – April 26, 2023 – Gurnee, IL, Akorn Operating Company LLC has filed Chapter 7 bankruptcy on February 23, 2023. In connection with that filing, the company has ceased and shutdown all operations and terminated all its employees of all domestic US Sites. The Akorn Trustee is initiating a voluntary recall of various within-expiry human and animal products as a result of the closures and discontinuation of the Quality activities of these marketed products. (Refer to Attachment I and II). The discontinuation of the Quality program means the company will not be able to support or guarantee that the products will meet all intended specifications through the labeled shelf life of the product. Further distribution or use of any remaining product on the market should cease immediately.
Gear Isle Issues Voluntary Nationwide Recall of Pro Power Knight Plus, NUX Male Enhancement and DYNAMITE SUPER Capsules Due to the Presence of Sildenafil and Tadalafil
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – April 26, 2023– West Sacramento, CA, Gear Isle is voluntarily recalling the following products listed in the table below to the consumer level. FDA analysis has found the products to be tainted with sildenafil and tadalafil. Sildenafil and tadalafil are ingredients known as Phosphodiesterase Inhibitors (PDE-5) inhibitors found in FDA-approved products for the treatment of male erectile dysfunction. The presence of sildenafil and tadalafil in these products renders them unapproved drugs for which the safety and efficacy have not been established and, therefore, subject to recall.

Ellenos Real Greek LLC Issues Allergy Alert on Undeclared Egg In Vanilla Bean Yogurt 4oz Cup In Costco 12-Pack
Ellenos Real Greek LLC of Federal Way, WA is recalling Vanilla Bean Greek Yogurt 4oz. cups, sold in Costco 12-Pack case, item #1340833, because it may contain undeclared egg. People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to egg run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume this product.
Vanilla Bean Greek Yogurt 4oz. cups sold in Costco 12-Pack case, lot #073, at Costco Warehouse in Alaska, Oregon, and Washington. The affected Vanilla Bean Greek Yogurt 4oz. cup has the affected BEST BEFORE date of 04/23/2023 printed on a blue foil seal.
The Vanilla Bean Greek Yogurt 4oz cup has the UPC 8 57290 00620 1 and it is sold as part of the 12-Pack case and each case has the UPC 8 57290 00617 1. This is a refrigerated item and packaged in a clear plastic cup with a blue foil seal and can be identified by the blue lettering on front panel display.
The Marionberry 4oz. cups with the Best Before date 04/23/2023 is not affected by this recall. No other Ellenos brand yogurt products of any other size or similarity were affected.
American Outdoor Products Issues Allergy Alert on Undeclared Almonds in Backpacker’s Pantry Blueberry Peach Crisp
American Outdoor Products of Boulder, CO is voluntarily recalling its 4.6 ounce packages of Backpacker’s Pantry Blueberry Peach Crisp because the ingredient statement declares “Almonds”, but the “Contains" statement did not declare “Almond”.
People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to almonds run the risk of a serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume this product.
The recalled Blueberry Peach Crisp was distributed nationwide in retail stores and through online orders.
Dakota Style Foods, Inc. Issues Expanded Allergy Alert on Undeclared Milk in Pretzels
Dakota Style Foods, Inc. is expanding the recall of the braided pretzels to include the following products because they may contain undeclared milk. People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to milk run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume these products.
Pretzels were distributed through retail stores in all lower 48 states and Alaska.
Kawasho Foods USA Inc. Announces Expansion of Voluntary Recall of GEISHA Medium Shrimp 4oz. Due to Possible Under Processing
Kawasho Foods USA Inc. of New York, NY, is announcing an expansion of its February 26, 2023, voluntary recall of canned GEISHA Medium Shrimp 4oz. to now recall all lots of this product. Kawasho Foods is taking this step out of an abundance of caution due to a concern that there is a possibility that the product has been under processed, which could lead to the potential for spoilage organisms or pathogens.
Kawasho Foods made this decision after receiving additional information from the Food and Drug Administration.
The Product was distributed to retailers nationwide (AL, AR, AZ, CA, CO, CT, DE, FL, GA, IA, IL, IN, KS, KY, MA, MI, MN, MO, NC, NH, NJ, NY, OH, OR, PA, TN, TX, UT, VA, WA, WI) from Dec 2022 to Apr 2023.
The GEISHA Medium Shrimp is packaged in a 4oz. metal can, with UPC 071140003909 (Listed on the back of the label).
Summit Naturals Issues Allergy Alert on Undeclared Egg in Highkey Mini Treats Banana Nut and Highkey Mini Treats Birthday Cake
Orlando, FL – April 21, 2023 - Summit Naturals, a Delaware corporation, is voluntarily recalling limited quantities of its 2-ounce packages of HighKey Mini Treats Birthday Cake lot code 2216101 JUN102023, UPC 8 50020 43374 2 and HighKey Mini Treats Banana Nut lot code 2216101 JUN102023, UPC 8 50020 43373 5 snacks because they may contain undeclared egg. People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to Egg run the risk of a serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume these products. There have been two reported illnesses to date.
On April 12, 2023 the firm was notified by the Food and Drug Administration of a customer complaint related to this lot. The recalled “HighKey Mini Treats” were shipped between July 12, 2022 – November 22, 2022 to distribution centers located in California, Colorado, Florida, Kentucky, New Jersey, Oregon & Washington.
The product comes in a 2oz purple pouch marked with lot code 2216101 and an expiration date of 6/10/23 stamped on the back of the pouch. No other HighKey products are affected by this recall, which resulted from a packaging error that occurred on a single production date.
Lipari Foods Recalls Ground Cumin Because of Possible Health Risk
WARREN, Mich. – Lipari Foods has issued a voluntary recall of a specific lot of Lipari Branded Ground Cumin Tubs manufactured by International Food due to potential presence of Salmonella contamination. Salmonella is an organism, which can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in young children, frail or elderly people, and others with weakened immune systems. Healthy persons infected with Salmonella often experience fever, diarrhea (which may be bloody), nausea, vomiting and abdominal pain. In rare circumstances, infection with can result in the organism getting into the bloodstream and producing more severe illnesses such as arterial infections (i.e., infected aneurysms), endocarditis and arthritis.
The products were distributed to retail stores throughout Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Missouri, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Texas, Virginia, and Wisconsin.
Products were distributed as generic product with “Distributed by Lipari Foods” listed on the label.
