Methylene chloride is a prohibited ingredient which is not allowed in cosmetics at any level under FDA regulations.

Blaine Labs, Inc Issues Voluntary Nationwide Recall of Wound Care Gel Products Due to Microbial Contamination

Santa Fe Springs, California – April 07, 2026 – Blaine Labs, Inc. is voluntarily recalling three (3) lot numbers of Wound Care Gel products, 1 oz. & 3 oz. (0.1% Benzalkonium Chloride) to the consumer level due to microbial contamination.

The affected product has been found to contain Lysinibacillus fusiformis, an environmental organism.

Risk Statement

This voluntary recall has been initiated as a precautionary measure due to the detection of microbial presence. The tested samples identified the presence of Lysinibacillus fusiformis. Lysinibacillus fusiformis is an environmental, spore-forming bacterium.

Blueroot Health Expands Voluntary Allergy Alert on Undeclared Egg, Hazelnut, and Soy in Vital Nutrients Aller-C Dietary Supplements

April 10, 2026 — Middletown, CT — Blueroot Health of Middletown, Connecticut is expanding its voluntary recall of its Vital Nutrients Aller-C dietary supplements due to the potential to contain undeclared egg, hazelnut, and soy. The initial recall, which included lots 25E04-A and 25E04-B, has been expanded to include all product made from lot 25E04. People who have allergies and/or severe sensitivity to egg, hazelnut, and soy run the risk of a serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume this product.

Aller-C was distributed nationwide by VitalNutrients.co and other online retailers.

The recalled product is packaged in a white plastic bottle containing 100 or 200 capsules and includes lot numbers 25E04, 25E04-A, and 25E04-B with an expiration date of 05/27 on the side of the bottle.
