DermaRite Industries, LLC is expanding the voluntary recall initiated on July 16, due to potential microbial contamination identified as Burkholderia cepacia complex. Out of an abundance of caution the voluntary recall has expanded to include additional products and lots, which can be found in the table below. Risk Statement: Burkholderia cepacia complex in these products may result in serious and lifethreatening infections if the products are used by immunosuppressed individuals or by people attending to immunosuppressed individuals. For healthy individuals with minor skin lesions, the use of the product may result in local infections, whereas in immunocompromised individuals the infection could spread into the blood stream, potentially leading to life-threatening sepsis.

Green Lumber Holding, LLC Issues Consumer Alert on Counterfeit Products Following FDA Findings
Costa Mesa, California August 28, 2025 - Green Lumber Holding, LLC (“Green Lumber”) is alerting consumers that counterfeit products misrepresented as genuine Green Lumber have been identified and may pose health risks.
This alert follows testing by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), which detected tadalafil, an undeclared prescription drug, in products labeled as Green Lumber. Tadalafil is not an ingredient in any authentic Green Lumber product. Based on the FDA’s findings, Green Lumber conducted its own internal investigation and determined that a company employee diverted legitimate packaging and customer information to distribute counterfeit, adulterated product. That employee has since been terminated.
Unichem Pharmaceuticals recalls Unichem Pharmaceuticals Cyclobenzaprine Hydrochloride Tablets USP 10 mg
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – 08/27/2025– East Brunswick, NJ, Unichem Pharmaceuticals (USA), Inc. is voluntarily recalling one (1) lot of Cyclobenzaprine Hydrochloride Tablets USP 10 mg, to the consumer level. The Cyclobenzaprine 10mg (90ct) label was inadvertently placed on a bottle containing Meloxicam 7.5 mg tablets.
Risk Statement: For patients who unknowingly take Meloxicam there is a reasonable probability of serious adverse events including cardiovascular, gastrointestinal, renal, anaphylaxis, and skin reactions, particularly in those patients taking concomitant non-steroidal anti-Inflammatory drugs and/or blood thinners, those who have allergies to the Meloxicam, or those with underlying illness. To date, Unichem Pharmaceuticals has not received any reports of adverse events related to this recall.

August 28, 2025, AquaStar (USA) Corp of Seattle, WA is recalling approximately 26,460 packages of Cocktail Shrimp 6oz (see photo), imported from Indonesia, because they may have been prepared, packed, or held under insanitary conditions whereby they may have become contaminated with cesium-137 (Cs-137).
Cs-137 is a man-made radioisotope of cesium. Traces of Cs-137 are widespread and can be present in the environment at background levels, and at higher levels in water or foods grown, raised, or produced in areas with environmental contamination. The primary health effect of concern following longer term, repeated low dose exposure (e.g., through consumption of contaminated food or water over time) is an elevated risk of cancer, resulting from damage to DNA within living cells of the body.

August 27, 2025, AquaStar (USA) Corp of Seattle, WA is recalling approximately 18,000 bags (net wt. 2lbs) of Kroger Mercado Cooked Medium Peeled Tail-Off Shrimp because they may have been prepared, packed, or held under insanitary conditions whereby they may have become contaminated with cesium-137 (Cs-137).
Cs-137 is a man-made radioisotope of cesium. Traces of Cs-137 are widespread and can be present in the environment at background levels, and at higher levels in water or foods grown, raised, or produced in areas with environmental contamination. The primary health effect of concern following longer term, repeated low dose exposure (e.g., through consumption of contaminated food or water over time) is an elevated risk of cancer, resulting from damage to DNA within living cells of the body.
The affected shrimp was sold at Baker’s, Gerbes, Jay C, Kroger, Mariano’s, Metro Market, Pay Less Supermarkets, and Pick ‘n Save in AL, AR, GA, IL, IN, KS, KY, MI, MO, MS, NE, OH, SC, TN, VA, WI, WV between July 24, 2025 and August 11, 2025.

Country Eggs, LLC Recalls Large Brown Cage Free “Sunshine Yolks” Because of Possible Health Risk
Country Eggs, LLC of Lucerne Valley, CA is recalling our LARGE BROWN CAGE FREE SUNSHINE YOLKS because it has the potential to be contaminated with Salmonella, an organism which can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in young children, frail or elderly people and others with weakened immune systems. Healthy persons infected with Salmonella often experience fever, diarrhea (which may be bloody), nausea, vomiting and abdominal pain. in rare circumstances, infection with Salmonella can result in the organism getting into the bloodstream and producing more severe illnesses such as arterial infections ( ie.. infected aneurysms), endocarditis and arthritis.
The LARGE BROWN CAGE FREE SUNSHINE were distributed in California and Nevada. Product was delivered to grocery stores and food service distributors.

Vanilla G.Nutt ice cream is packaged in plastic pints and half gallons; and white paper coated quart containers. The pint UPC code is 8 56781 00361 3, the quart UPC code is 8 56781 00362 0 and the half gallon UPC code is 8 56781 00363 7. Expiration date is March 2027. Master packs — individual packets of dressing and toppings supplied by Latitude 36 Foods and included in Taylor Farms salad kits — incorrectly included Asian Sesame Ginger dressing rather than the intended Honey Balsamic Vinaigrette dressing, leading to the possibility of undeclared sesame and soy allergens in some Taylor Farms Honey Balsamic Salad Kits.

August 25, 2025 – Viva Raw LLC, Charlotte, NC is voluntarily recalling two lots of dog and cat foods due to contamination with Salmonella and Listeria monocytogenes. The recall is for Lot 21495 (Viva Ground Beef for Dogs; Viva Beef & Turkey for Puppies) and Lot 21975 (Viva Ground Chicken for Dogs; Viva Chunked Chicken for Dogs; Viva Chicken for Cats; Viva Pure Chicken).
Salmonella and Listeria can affect animals eating the products and there is risk to humans from handling contaminated pet products, especially if they have not thoroughly washed their hands after having contact with the products or any surfaces exposed to these products.
