Eagle Produce LLC recalls Kandy Whole Cantaloupe
Eagle Produce LLC Scottsdale, AZ is initiating a recall of 224 cases of whole cantaloupe because they have the potential to be contaminated with Salmonella. Salmonella is an organism which can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in young children, frail or elderly people, and others with weakened immune systems. Healthy people may experience fever, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea (which may be bloody), and abdominal pain. In rare cases the organism can get into the bloodstream and produce more severe illness such as arterial infections (i.e. infected aneurysms), endocarditis and arthritis.
The products were distributed between August 13th - 17th in Michigan, Missouri, Ohio, Texas and Virginia and sold in various retail supermarkets. The cantaloupes are identified with a red and white sticker with KANDY across the top and UPC number code, 4050 No other products or lot code dates are affected by this recall.
There have been no reported illnesses attributed to the recalled items to date.
Hammond’s Candies recalls Dark Chocolate Filled Mini Waffle Cones
Hammond’s Candies of Denver, CO is recalling 4-ounce bags of Dark Chocolate Filled Mini Waffle Cones because they may contain undeclared milk. People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to milk run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume these products.
The recalled Hammond’s Dark Chocolate Filled Mini Waffle Cones are packaged in a 4-ounce stand-up, resealable bag, with UPC -6 91355 90513 5. Hammond’s item number for this product is FC23212. The recalled product codes LN0525453 Use By: 03/20/2025 and LN0525453 Use By: 05/20/2025 can be found printed on the lower-center region of the back of the bag. See below photos for example.
Milo’s Poultry Farms, LLC recalls Milo’s Poultry Farms & Tony’s Fresh Market Eggs
Milo’s Poultry Farms, LLC. of Bonduel, WI is recalling all “Milo’s Poultry Farms” and “Tony’s Fresh Market” branded eggs because these eggs have the potential to be contaminated with Salmonella, an organism which can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in young children, frail or elderly people, and others with weakened immune systems. Healthy persons infected with Salmonella often experience fever, diarrhea (which may be bloody), nausea, vomiting and abdominal pain. In rare circumstances, infection with Salmonella can result in the organism getting into the bloodstream and producing more severe illnesses such as arterial infections (i.e., infected aneurysms), endocarditis and arthritis.
Milo’s Poultry Farms’ eggs were distributed in Wisconsin, Illinois, and Michigan through retail stores and foodservice distributors.
This recall includes: all carton sizes and all egg types labeled with “Milo’s Poultry Farms” all expiration dates and all carton sizes of “Tony’s Fresh Market” branded eggs, all expiration dates. As well as, all cases of eggs for retail foodservice distribution, all expiration dates.
Niitakaya USA Inc. recalls Niitakaya Shiso Katsuo Ninniku & Miso Katsuo Ninniku
Niitakaya USA Inc. of Montebello, CA, is recalling All Best By dates of its 5.2 ounce (147 gram) packages of #3700 Shiso Katsuo Ninniku /#3701 Miso Katsuo Ninniku because they may contain undeclared Allergen of Fish (Bonito). People who have allergies to fish run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume these products.
The recalled #3700 Shiso Katsuo Ninniku /#3701 Miso Katsuo Ninniku were distributed nationwide to retail stores and through distributors.
The product comes in a 5.2 ounce (147 grams), clear plastic package marked with Niitakaya logo on the top. The product images are below. The Best By date will be located in the top back part of the package.
No illnesses have been reported to date.

Smiths Medical recalls Bivona® Aire-Cuf®, TTS™, Uncuffed, Mid-Range Neonatal/Pediatric Tracheostomy Tube(s) and Bivona Aire-Cuf®, TTS™, Cuffless FlexTend™, TTS™ FlexTend™ Adult Tracheostomy Tube(s)
MINNEAPOLIS, MN. August 19, 2024 – Smiths Medical issued an Urgent Medical Device Notification on May 29, 2024, to notify affected customers of a potential issue with certain Bivona® Tracheostomy Tubes.
All impacted customers and distributors were sent a letter outlining the risk and providing specific steps to determine whether their devices are affected or not and what steps to follow if they have affected product in service.
The customer notification sent on May 29, 2024, indicated that if the flange on the item is torn or broken, the tracheostomy tube may not stay in position in the trachea. This can lead to tracheostomy displacement or decannulation. Either event may result in an inability to properly ventilate or protect the airway and may contribute to a catastrophic adverse event.
