People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to milk run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume these products.
No illnesses have been reported to date in connection with this affected product lot.
The recalled packages of ONO Vegan Blueberry Muffin Protein Overnight Oats with lot number 11923 were distributed nationwide in retail stores including Target and Vitamin Shoppe locations and through mail orders from www.eatovernightoats.com.
Dreyer’s Grand Ice Cream, Inc. Issues Allergy Alert on Undeclared Milk in Outshine No Sugar Added Strawberry Fruit Bars in 6 Count Pack
July 17, 2023, Dreyer’s Grand Ice Cream, Inc. is voluntarily recalling a limited number of its Outshine No Sugar Added Strawberry Fruit Bars that may contain an undeclared milk allergen. Those with an allergy or severe sensitivity to milk run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume this product.
The recall is limited to 6 Count packages of Outshine No Sugar Added Strawberry Fruit Bars with batch numbers LLA317822 and LLA317922 and a Best By date of September 30, 2024.
The affected product was shipped to three retail customers in the following states:
- Kroger (VA, WV, OH and KY)
- Shoprite (MD, PA, VA, DE and NJ)
- Wal-Mart (AR, MO, TN, MS, KY, AL and LA)

Cava Foods, Inc., a Subsidiary of Cava Group, Inc. Issues Allergy Alert for Undeclared Sesame in Cava Spicy Hummus
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – July 17, 2023 - Cava Foods, Inc., a subsidiary of Cava Group, Inc. in Washington D.C., is issuing a voluntary recall of one lot of its packaged CAVA Spicy Hummus due to the potential for the product to contain undeclared sesame, which is a food allergen. People who are allergic to sesame run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reactions if they consume this product.
The single affected product lot was distributed to retailers including Whole Foods Market, Giant Foods, MOM's Organic Market, and regional independent retailers. CAVA’s packaged Spicy Hummus is sold nationwide.
CAVA voluntarily initiated the recall after a single retail store notified the company that packaging lids for CAVA Spicy Labneh (which do not declare sesame as an ingredient) were applied to containers of Spicy Hummus, which contains sesame, a common allergen. The wrong lid was applied to a limited number of Spicy Hummus containers by a third-party supplier.
The affected product is packaged in 8-ounce plastic tubs, labeled on the side with UPC 89832800227, Lot# MD023804, and a Best By Date of August 19, 2023.
Heinen’s Issues Allergy Alert on Undeclared Peanuts and Almonds in Heinen’s Fresh Ground Cashew Butter
July 13th, 2023. Heinen’s of Warrensville Heights, OH is voluntarily recalling Heinen’s Fresh Ground Cashew Butter, due to the possibility that it may contain undeclared Peanuts or Almonds. While no reports of injury have occurred, out of an abundance of caution people who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to Peanuts or Almonds should avoid this product.
Heinen’s Fresh Ground Cashew Butter was distributed in OH and in IL through Heinen’s retail Locations.
The containers are sold by weight, and the affected batch will have a UPC of 2-0953040773-4 and a Sell By Date of 08.27.23
Braga Fresh Issues Precautionary Recall of 365 By Whole Foods Market Brand Organic Asian Inspired Chopped Salad Kit 12oz Bag Due to Potential Presence of Undeclared Allergens
Soledad, Calif. – July 11, 2023 – Braga Fresh is voluntarily recalling a single production run of 365 by Whole Foods Market Organic Asian Inspired Chopped Salad Kit 12oz bag purchased from Whole Foods Markets stores.
The product is being recalled because it contains incorrect condiment ingredients resulting in undeclared milk and egg that was not listed on the product label. Milmar Food Group LLC Issues Allergy Alert on Undeclared Milk in Spring Valley Potato Blintzes
MilMar Food Group LLC, of Goshen, NY is recalling 1200 units of Spring Valley Potato Blintzes, because it may contain undeclared milk. People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to milk run the risk of serious or life threatening allergis reaction if they consume these products.
Spring Valley Potato Blintzes were shipped to distributors and retailers in New York, New Jersey, Maryland and Florida, and were shipped between the dates of 06/01 and 07/05/2023. A voluntary recall was initiated after it was discovered through a consumer complaint that product containing milk was potentially packed into packaging that did not reveal the presence of milk. Subsequent investigation revealed that the potential problem was caused by a temporary breakdown in the company’s packing processes.

Estancia Holdings of Cumming, GAis recalling one Lot of Tome Corse Sheep Ottavi due to a potential contamination of Listeria monocytogenes. Listeria monocytogenes, an organism which can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in young children, frail or elderly people, and others with weakened immune systems. Although healthy individuals may suffer only short-term symptoms such as high fever, severe headache, stiffness, nausea, abdominal pain and diarrhea, a Listeria monocytogenes infection can cause miscarriages and stillbirths among pregnant women.
On June 22, 2023 Estancia Holdings was notified by the French supplier that a wheel they received may be contaminated with Listeria Monocytogenes.

Everest Food Products Private Limited of Gujarat, India has been notified by FDA that samples of their products, Sambhar Masala and Garam Masala, have tested positive for Salmonella. These products were not distributed by Everest Food Products Private Limited and they were not intended for distribution or sale in the US market. Amin Trading Agency LLC., Edison, NJ. sourced our products from Indian markets and distributed them in the US market. Amin Trading Agency LLC. is conducting a recall of these products because they have the potential to be contaminated with Salmonella, an organism which can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in young children, frail or elderly people, and others with weakened immune systems. Healthy persons infected with Salmonella often experience fever, diarrhea (which may be bloody), nausea, vomiting and abdominal pain. In rare circumstances, infection with Salmonella can result in the organism getting into the bloodstream and producing more severe illnesses such as arterial infections (i.e., infected aneurysms), endocarditis and arthritis.
The recalled products were distributed to retail stores in GA, NC, OH, MD, TN, TX, MS, FL, VA, NJ, and NY.
