Boulla LLC recalls Marketed as Dietary Supplement
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – 11/04/24 – Sacramento, CA, Boulla LLC is voluntarily recalling lot YZM240406, Exp 04/05/27, of ZoomMax Capsules and ZapMax Capsules packaged in 10-count blisters in a cardboard carton to the consumer level. The products were found to be tainted with sildenafil via testing by the FDA, an ingredient in FDA approved products for treatment of male erectile dysfunction in the family of drugs known as phosphodiesterase (PDE-5) inhibitors and diclofenac, an FDA approved drug known as a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) used to treat pain and inflammation. Products containing sildenafil and diclofenac cannot be marketed as dietary supplements. ZoomMax and ZapMax capsules are unapproved new drugs for which safety and efficacy have not been established and, therefore, subject to recall.
Consumption of products with undeclared sildenafil may interact with nitrates found in some prescription drugs (such as nitroglycerin) and may cause a significant drop in blood pressure that may be life threatening. People with diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, or heart disease often take nitrates. Among the adult male population, who are most likely to use this product, adult males who use nitrates for cardiac conditions are most at risk.
VitalityVita recalls Marketed as Dietary Supplement
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – 11/04/24 – Sacramento, CA, VitalityVita.com is voluntarily recalling lot 230811, Exp 8/11/25, of VitalityXtra Capsules and PeakMax Capsules packaged in 10-count blisters in a cardboard carton to the consumer level. VitalityXtra was found to be tainted with sildenafil, an ingredient in FDA approved products for treatment of male erectile dysfunction in the family of drugs known as phosphodiesterase (PDE-5) inhibitors. PeakMax capsules was found to be tainted with sildenafil and diclofenac, an FDA approved drug known as a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) used to treat pain and inflammation. Babcock Dairy recalls Orange Custard Chocolate Chip ice cream
Babcock Dairy of Madison, Wisconsin, is voluntarily recalling approximately 41 cases of Orange Custard Chocolate Chip ice cream that may be labeled as Chocolate Peanut Butter. People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to eggs or yellow #5 run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume these products.

- Size: Half Gallon
The products were produced on September 17, 2024, and distributed to local retail establishments and directly to customers in Wisconsin. The issue was discovered on the evening of November 4, 2024, when a customer reported the mislabeling. There have been no reports of illness associated with consumption of these products.
CIBUS Fresh recalls CF, J&O and other Autumn Turkey Sandwiches
CIBUS Fresh, Noblesville, Indiana, is recalling CIBUS Fresh products containing Glenview Farms Spreadable Brie, 2/3lb due to supplier notification of a possible Listeria monocytogenes (products are listed below). Product was distributed under the following labels: CIBUS Fresh, Jack & Olive, and Sprig and Sprout.
CIBUS Fresh has ceased producing and distributing products containing Glenview Farms Spreadable Brie, 2/3lb.
Use or consumption of products contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in young children, frail or elderly people, and others with weakened immune systems. Although healthy individuals may suffer only short-term symptoms such as high fever, severe headache, stiffness, nausea, abdominal pain and diarrhea, Listeria infection can cause miscarriages and stillbirths among pregnant women.
The product was distributed to six states: Kentucky, Illinois, Indiana, Missouri, Ohio, and Tennessee.

Savencia Cheese USA Announces an Expanded Voluntary Recall of Select Soft Ripened Cheeses
NEW HOLLAND, Pa. (Nov. 4, 2024) – Savencia Cheese USA is recalling select soft ripened cheeses manufactured in our Lena manufacturing facility because it has the potential to be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes, an organism which can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in young children, frail or elderly people, and others with weakened immune systems. Although healthy individuals may suffer only short-term symptoms such as high fever, severe headache, stiffness, nausea, abdominal pain and diarrhea, Listeria infection can cause miscarriages and stillbirths among pregnant women.
The only products being recalled are those in the table in the article. You can identify these products by reviewing the UPC and the best buy date on the product labels. These products had limited regional distribution in the United States. The few retailers that received the product have been informed of this possible contamination and are in the process of removing products from shelves. Consumers that have any of the recalled products listed in the table above should refrain from consuming them and return them to their place of purchase for a full refund.
