Insight Pharmaceuticals Issues Voluntary Nationwide Recall of TING® 2% Miconazole Nitrate Athlete’s Foot Spray Antifungal Spray Powder Due to the Presence of Benzene
TARRYTOWN, N.Y., Nov. 24, 2023 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Insight Pharmaceuticals, a Prestige Consumer Healthcare Inc. company (“Insight”), is voluntarily recalling two lots of TING® 2% Miconazole Nitrate Athlete’s Foot Spray Antifungal Spray Powder to the consumer level. A recent review by our manufacturer and their third- party lab found that samples from two lots of the product contained elevated levels of benzene. While benzene is not an ingredient in any Ting® Antifungal Spray products, the review showed that unexpected levels of benzene came from the propellant that sprays the product out of the can. Importantly, no other lots of TING® 2% Miconazole Nitrate Athlete’s Foot Spray Antifungal Spray Powder (either before or after these batch codes) and no other Ting® Antifungal Spray products are in the scope of this recall and may continue to be used by consumers safely and as intended.
Bayer Issues Voluntary Recall Nationwide of VITRAKVI® (larotrectinib) Oral Solution 20 mg/mL Due to Presence of Microbial Contamination

The product is being recalled due to microbial contamination identified as Penicillium brevicompactum observed during routine ongoing stability testing.
Noah’s Wholesale, LLC Issues Voluntary Nationwide Recall of the Rock Due to Presence of Undeclared Sildenafil
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – October 18, 2023 – Miami Gardens, Florida, Noah’s Wholesale, LLC is voluntarily recalling one lot of the rock# 03032021,exp:12/2027,1200 mg/capsule, to the consumer level. FDA analysis has found the product to be tainted with Sildenafil. Sildenafil is an ingredient known as a Phosphodiesterase Inhibitor (PDE-5) found in FDA-approved products for the treatment of male erectile dysfunction. The presence of sildenafil in this product renders the rock an unapproved drug for which the safety and efficacy has not been established and, therefore, subject to recall.

Pacific Trellis Fruit Recalls Malichita Brand Cantaloupes Due to Possible Health Risk
Pacific Trellis Fruit, LLC dba Dulcinea is initiating a voluntary recall of 4,872 cases of Malichita brand whole cantaloupe. The voluntary recall is due to the FDAs ongoing investigation of an outbreak involving Malichita brand cantaloupe. The cantaloupes have the potential to be contaminated with Salmonella. Salmonella is an organism which can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in young children, frail or elderly people, and others with weakened immune systems. Healthy people may experience fever, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea (which may be bloody), and abdominal pain. In rare cases the organism can get into the bloodstream and produce more severe illnesses such as arterial infections (i.e., infected aneurysms), endocarditis and arthritis.
The products were distributed between October 18th - 26th in California, Illinois, Oklahoma, Texas, and Wisconsin, and sold in various retail supermarkets. The whole cantaloupe is packed in corrugated cartons, the price look-up sticker is labeled “Malichita”.
Urgent Food Recall— Raspberry Crème Filled Cookie
Wine Country Gift Baskets is taking precautionary measures of voluntarily recalling all gift baskets produced with Acorn Baking Company raspberry crème filled cookies. During production, it was discovered that some packages of the raspberry crème filled cookies contained hazelnut crème filled cookies. Hazelnut is a tree nut and listed as one of the nine major food allergens. The allergen statement on each individual cookie package states “May Contain Traces of Peanuts, Hazelnuts, Almonds, Sesame, Sulphites” as these two cookies are produced in the same facility. People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to tree nuts (hazelnuts) run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume these products.

CF Dallas, LLC, in Coordination with Sofia Produce, LLC Dba Trufresh, Voluntarily Recalls Select Fresh-Cut Fruit Products Due to Possible Salmonella Contamination
CF Dallas, LLC is voluntarily recalling select fresh-cut products made from whole cantaloupe subject to a previously announced product recall initiated by Sofia Produce, LLC dba Trufresh due to potential Salmonella contamination. All CF Dallas fresh-cut fruit products associated with the recalled whole cantaloupe have expired, however consumers who have purchased these items and may have frozen them for later use are urged not to consume the products and to dispose of them immediately or return the items to their local store for a full refund.
Salmonella is an organism which can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in young children, frail or elderly people, and others with weakened immune systems. Healthy persons infected with Salmonella often experience fever, diarrhea (which may be bloody), nausea, vomiting and abdominal pain. In rare circumstances, infection with Salmonella can result in the organism getting into the bloodstream and producing more severe illnesses such as arterial infections (i.e., infected aneurysms), endocarditis and arthritis.
As of November 22, there have been no illnesses reported related to CF Dallas fresh-cut products. The fresh-cut fruit products containing recalled cantaloupe were distributed to select retail stores in Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, Kentucky, North Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, Illinois, Texas, and Louisiana. The products are packaged in clear square or round plastic containers, marked with a lot code and “best by” date on the label.
Dianne's Fine Desserts Issues Allergy Alert on Undeclared Peanut Allergen in Sienna Bakery® Chocolate Decadent Brownies
Dianne's Fine Desserts of Newburyport, MA 01950 is voluntarily recalling 512 cases (2048 trays) of Gordon Food Service (GFS) Sienna Bakery® Chocolate Decadent Brownies (GFS#226240) and Sienna Bakery® Chocolate Peanut Butter Brownies (GFS#226260) due to inadvertent mislabeling of the inner tray of brownies, resulting in undeclared peanuts. People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to peanuts run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume these products.
The impacted product, listed below, was distributed wholesale to foodservice operators and through retail Gordon Food Service (“GFS”) Stores in AR, FL, IL, IN, KY, MI, MO, NY, OH, PA, SC, TN, WI, WV.
Trays are labeled as Sienna Bakery® Chocolate Decadent Brownies (GFS#226240) with lot code of 23243 printed on the bottom right corner of the tray (picture attached). Tray size is 16.5 x 12.5. x 2 inches.
Cases are labeled Sienna Bakery® Chocolate Peanut Butter Brownies (GFS# 226260) and have a lot code identifier printed as 6Z3H31 on master case labels on bottom right corner around the barcode of the master case label and 23243 imprinted in the center of the master case label (picture attached).
Urgent – Food Recall Because of Potential Undeclared Allergen Due to Mislabel
As a precautionary measure, Seneca Foods Corporation is announcing a voluntary recall of mislabeled Hy-Vee Turkey gravy in glass jars that actually contains beef gravy. This product could potentially contain a soy allergen which is not declared on the label. Seneca is now retrieving improperly labeled Hy-Vee Turkey Gravy from its distribution system. This recall only affects Hy-Vee Turkey Gravy product sold by Hy-Vee. No other retailers are affected. People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to soy run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume these products.
Seneca is not aware of any reports of consumer illness related to this product.
