Global Mix Inc. of Middle Village, New York, is recalling niwali Tejocote Capsules (90 capsules, Herbal Supplement) and niwali Tejocote Pieces (90 Day Supply, Herbal Supplement) because FDA analysis has determined that the products appear to be Thevetia peruviana, or yellow oleander. All parts of the yellow oleander plant are known to contain cardiac glycosides, which are highly toxic to humans and animals. Ingestion of yellow oleander can cause severe or even fatal neurologic, gastrointestinal, and cardiovascular adverse hea lth effects. Symptoms may include nausea, vomiting, dizziness, diarrhea, abdominal pain, changes in heart rhythm, arrhythmia, and more.

September 17, 2026 AUSTIN, TX – Otsuka ICU Medical LLC is issuing a voluntary recall for one lot of 0.9% SODIUM CHLORIDE Injection, USP, 100mL single pack to the user level due to a potential mix-up. The affected lot of 0.9% SODIUM CHLORIDE Injection, USP (NDC: 0990-7984-23 Lot 1042188) may potentially contain the overwrap with labeling indicating it to be 0.9% SODIUM CHLORIDE Injection, USP (NDC: 0990-7984-23) but the actual product within the overwrap may be POTASSIUM CHLORIDE Inj. 10 mEq, (NDC 0990-7074-26) Lot 1035181. The issue has been identified through a customer complaint where a 10 mEq Highly Concentrated POTASSIUM CHLORIDE Injection 100 mL bag was found inside an overwrap of 0.9% SODIUM CHLORIDE Injection, USP 100 mL.

Berlin Seeds Recalls Alfalfa Sprouting Seed Because of Possible Health Risk
Berlin Seeds, of Millersburg, OH, is recalling 950 lbs of Alfalfa Sprouting Seed because the seed has the potential to be contaminated with Shiga toxin-producing Escherichia coli (STEC) and/or Salmonella.
Shiga toxin-producing Escherichia coli (STEC) are organisms that can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in young children, elderly people, and others with weakened immune systems. Escherichia coli (STEC) O26:H11, E. coli O103:H25, and E. coli O168:H8 are three members of this group of Shiga toxin-producing E. coli. STECs cause an acute diarrheal illness (often bloody diarrhea) within a few days of ingestion of the bacteria. Most people recover within a week. However, a subset of infected individuals (especially children < 5 years of age, the elderly, and immunocompromised individuals) may develop hemolytic uremic syndrome (HUS), a severe illness characterized by hemolytic anemia (red cell breakdown), thrombocytopenia (low platelet count) and renal failure. HUS can lead to death.

People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to Crustacean Shellfish (Lobster) run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume these products.
Pear and Pecorino Triangoli Ravioli was distributed in Massachusetts in retail stores between 8/10/26 and 9/22/26.
Deano’s Pasta brand Pear and Pecorino Triangoli Ravioli was packed in 1 lb. bags frozen, with lot codes 090126126, 082526126,081826126, and 073126126. The lot code can be found on the product label under best by date.
No illnesses have been reported to date.

Galil Importing Corp Recalls Lior Cinnamon Ground Seasoning Due to Elevated Lead Levels
Galil Importing Corp of Hauppauge, New York is recalling Lior Cinnamon Ground Seasoning because it has the potential to be contaminated with elevated levels of lead. Short term exposures to very low levels of lead may not elicit any symptoms. It is possible that increased blood lead levels may be the only apparent sign of lead exposure. Additional signs and symptoms of lead exposure are more likely with acute exposure to higher levels of lead or chronic exposure to lead. While lead can affect nearly every bodily system, its effects depend upon the amount and duration of lead exposure and age/ body weight. If a child is exposed to enough lead for a protracted period of time (e.g., weeks to months) permanent damage to the central nervous system may occur. This can result in learning disorders, developmental defects, and other longterm health problems.

Wakefern Food Corp. Voluntarily Recalls Wholesome Pantry Organic Unsweetened Apple Sauce
KEASBEY, N.J. (Sept. 14, 2026) – Wakefern Food Corp. has voluntarily recalled select containers of Wholesome Pantry Organic Unsweetened Apple Sauce after routine FDA testing identified elevated patulin levels that exceed food safety limits and do not meet Wakefern's quality standards.
Patulin is a naturally occurring substance produced by molds that grow on damaged or bruised apples and may be present in products made from affected fruit. Because patulin levels in this product exceed acceptable limits, the product should not be consumed.
The recall affects Wholesome Pantry Organic Unsweetened Apple Sauce sold in 23-ounce plastic jar containers with the UPC Code 04119005677. All recalled packages have a best-by date of June 16, 2027.
