FDA analysis has found the products to contain undeclared Tadalafil and Nortadalafil (structurally similar to Tadalafil). Tadalafil and Nortadalafil are active drug ingredients known for treatment of male erectile dysfunction. The presence of Tadalafil and Nortadalafil in Sustain capsules and Schwinnng capsules makes them unapproved new drugs for which the safety and efficacy have not been established and, therefore subject to recall.

FDA analysis has found the products to contain undeclared Nortadalafil (structurally similar to Tadalafil). Nortadalafil is an active drug ingredient known for treatment of male erectile dysfunction. The presence of Nortadalafil in Arize makes this an unapproved new drug for which the safety and efficacy has not been established and, therefore subject to recall.
Insight Pharmaceuticals Issues Voluntary Nationwide Recall of TING® 1% Tolnaftate Athlete’s Foot Spray Antifungal Spray Liquid Due to the Presence of Benzene
TARRYTOWN, N.Y.--(GLOBE NEWSWIRE)-February 1, 2024—Insight Pharmaceuticals, a Prestige Consumer Healthcare Inc. company (“Insight”), is voluntarily recalling two lots of TING® 1% Tolnaftate Athlete’s Foot Spray Antifungal Spray Liquid to the consumer level. A recent review by our manufacturer and their third-party lab found that samples from two lots of the product contained elevated levels of benzene. While benzene is not an ingredient in any Ting® Antifungal Spray products, the review showed that unexpected levels of benzene came from the propellant that sprays the product out of the can. Importantly, no other lots of TING® 1% Tolnaftate Athlete’s Foot Spray Antifungal Spray Liquid (either before or after these batch codes) and no other Ting® Antifungal Spray Liquid products are in the scope of this recall and may continue to be used by consumers safely and as intended.

Rizo-López Foods, Inc. Voluntarily Recalls Dairy Products Because of Possible Health Risk
MODESTO, Calif. (February 5, 2024) – Rizo-López Foods, Inc. (“RLF”) is voluntarily recalling its dairy products listed below because they have the potential to be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes, an organism that can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in young children, frail or elderly people, and others with weakened immune systems. Healthy individuals may suffer only short-term symptoms such as high fever, severe headache, stiffness, nausea, abdominal pain, and diarrhea. Listeria infection can cause miscarriages and stillbirths among pregnant women.
Based on information shared by the CDC and FDA, RLF may be a potential source of illness in an ongoing nationwide Listeria monocytogenes outbreak.
The recalled products were distributed nationwide by RLF and through distributors. Products also were sold at retail deli counters including, but not limited to, El Super, Cardenas Market, Northgate Gonzalez, Superior Groceries, El Rancho, Vallarta, Food City, La Michoacana, and Numero Uno Markets.

Summer Fresh Salads Inc. of Woodbridge, Ontario, Canada is recalling its Wegmans Harissa Hummus Topped With Harissa because they may contain undeclared sesame. People who have allergies to sesame run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume these products.
The recalled Wegmans Harissa Hummus Topped With Harissa was sold in select Wegmans stores in Washington D.C., Delaware, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, and Virginia between January 29 and February 2, 2024.
The product comes in a 10.5 ounce (298 g), clear plastic package with top, side and bottom labels marked with lot # 240239 and lot # 240309 with an expiration date of 03/19/2024 and 03/26/2024 stamped on the side label.

Nam & Son of MD, Jessup, MD is recalling one-pound bags of soybean sprouts, with the sell-by date of December 21, 2023, because it has the potential to be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes.
Listeria monocytogenes, an organism which can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in young children, frail, or elderly people, and others with weakened immune systems. Although healthy individuals may suffer only short-term symptoms such as high fever, severe headaches, stiffness, nausea, abdominal pain and diarrhea, Listeria infections can cause miscarriages and stillbirths among pregnant women.
The product has been distributed to retail stores in MD ranging from December 14, 2023.

People who have allergies to soy run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume these products.

Update: Quaker Issues Revised Recall Notice With Additional Product Due to Possible Health Risk
January 31, 2024 – An additional granola bar has been added to the U.S. Recalled Products list as indicated on the first row of the chart below. This product was discontinued in September 2023 and has “Best Before” dates of February 10 or 11, 2024. Consumers should check their pantries and dispose of the product.

In direct response to the Nurse Assist, LLC voluntary product recall (which included products supplied to Cardinal Health used in Covidien and Cardinal Health™ brand kits and trays), Cardinal Health issued a medical device recall on December 5, 2023, for its Covidien and Cardinal Health™ brand urology and operating room-specific kits and trays that contain 0.9% sodium chloride irrigation USP and sterile water for irrigation USP supplied by Nurse Assist. Under the Nurse Assist voluntary recall, this product is being recalled due to the potential for a lack of sterility assurance which could result in non-sterile product.
