Vi-Jon, LLC Expands Voluntary Nationwide Recall of All Flavors and Lots Within Expiry of Magnesium Citrate Saline Laxative Oral Solution Due to Microbial Contamination
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – July 25, 2022 – Smyrna, TN, Vi-Jon, LLC is expanding its voluntary recall to include all lots of all flavors of Magnesium Citrate Saline Laxative Oral Solution within expiry to the consumer level. This expansion includes all lots of Cherry Flavor and Grape Flavor of Magnesium Citrate Saline Laxative Oral Solution, 10 FL OZ (296 mL) within expiry. On July 14, 2022, Vi-Jon, LLC recalled all lots of Magnesium Citrate Saline Laxative Oral Solution Lemon Flavor, 10 FL OZ (296 mL) within expiry. The recall was initiated after Vi-Jon, LLCs third party microbial testing identified the presence of Gluconacetobacter liquefaciens.
Loud Muscle Science, LLC Issues Voluntary Recall of Launch Sequence Capsules Due to the Presence of Undeclared Tadalafil in United States and Canada
Hauppauge, NY, Loud Muscle Science, LLC is voluntarily recalling the following Launch Sequence products and lots listed in the table below to the consumer level. Laboratory analysis undertaken at the request of Loud Muscle Science, LLC found the products to be tainted with tadalafil, an ingredient in FDA approved products for treatment of male erectile dysfunction in the family of drugs known as phosphodiesterase (PDE-5) inhibitors. The presence of tadalafil in the Launch Sequence products makes these products unapproved drugs for which the safety and efficacy have not been established and therefore, subject to recall.
Ultra Supplement LLC Issues Voluntary Nationwide Recall of Sustango Due to the Presence of Undeclared Tadalafil
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – 7/21/22 – Wilmington DE, Ultra Supplement LLC is voluntarily recalling lot number DAP272109, exp 4/1/26 of Sustango capsules packaged in 10-count blisters packaged in a carton to the consumer level. Ultra Supplement was notified by Amazon that laboratory analysis has found the product to be tainted with tadalafil, an ingredient in FDA approved products for treatment of male erectile dysfunction in the family of drugs known as phosphodiesterase (PDE-5) inhibitors. The presence of tadalafil in Sustango makes this product an unapproved drug for which the safety and efficacy has not been established and therefore, subject to recall.
Consumers with underlying medical issues who take Sustango capsules with undeclared tadalafil may experience health risks. For example, PDE-5 inhibitors may interact with nitrates found in some prescription drugs (such as nitroglycerin) lowering blood pressure to dangerous levels that may be life-threatening. Consumers with diabetes, high blood pressure, or heart disease often take nitrates. To date, Ultra Supplement has not received any reports of adverse events related to this recall.
Voluntary Recall of Certain Over-the-Counter Products
Family Dollar is initiating a voluntary retail level product recall of certain products regulated by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) that were stored and inadvertently shipped to certain stores on or around May 1, 2022 through June 10, 2022 due to product being stored outside of labeled temperature requirements.

July 22, 2022 - Nature’s Sunshine Products Inc. of Spanish Fork, UT is announcing that it initiated a voluntarily recall of two AIVIA Whey Protein & Power Herbs meal replacement products because labels do not declare milk. Customers with a milk allergy or severe sensitivity to milk may experience a serious allergic reaction if they consume the affected product.
The AIVIA Whey Protein & Power Herbs products with the affected lot numbers and expiration dates were distributed between September 1, 2021, and July 20, 2022, throughout the United States via direct-to-consumer online sales and through independent distributors who sell product online or at independent health food stores.

Salmonella is an organism which can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in young children, frail or elderly people, and others with weakened immune systems. Healthy persons infected with Salmonella often experience fever, diarrhea, nausea, vomiting and abdominal pain.
Enjoy Life Natural Brands, LLC Expands Voluntary Recall of Select Bakery Products Due to Potential Presence of Foreign Material
Chicago, Ill. – July 20, 2022 – Enjoy Life Natural Brands LLC announced today, out of an abundance of caution, an expansion of its June 30th voluntary recall, to add one product and add additional Best By dates for four products to the list of recalled products. This recall is due to the potential presence of hard plastic pieces in the products. This voluntary recall is not related to an allergen and no other Enjoy Life products are affected by this voluntary recall. The company became aware of the additional items as a result of its internal investigation.
